The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series, and NASCAR K&N Pro Series East take on The Monster Mile at Dover International Speedway. Follow along with the weekend race schedule, TV schedule and entry lists.
The Drydene 400 marks the first race in Round 2 of the Cup Series Playoffs. Mechanical failures set the pace for Erik Jones in the first two races of Round 1 in Las Vegas and Richmond. Not only do the drivers need to perform and race their way into the next round, the teams have to come prepared as well for a shot at the finale in Homestead.
Ryan Newman saw his hopes dashed in the final laps at the ROVAL, missing out on the playoff cut to Alex Bowman who narrowly advanced with a runner-up finish in Charlotte. At the Spring race in Dover, Martin Truex Jr. led 132 laps on his way to victory, while last week’s winner Chase Elliott led a race-high 145 laps before finishing 5th.
